AVSEC training

The civil aviation security training centre, Aviation Security (AVSEC), was established, i.a., to meet the training needs resulting from both the provisions of national law (Aviation Law and related regulations) as well as the European Union regulations in the field of combating terrorism and aviation security.

The primary task of AVSEC training centre is to prepare, as part of professional training in the field of civil aviation security, the employees of companies that are engaged in aviation activities and Specialised Armed Security Formations (SUFO) to work as Security Control Room Operators. Our offer is also addressed to entities that conduct aviation activities, SUFO, services and organisational units of public administration that are responsible for the protection of civil aviation in the Republic of Poland. We strive to adapt our training to the individual needs of the customers by offering flexibility with regards to pricing, programme and organisation.

The training programmes that are available at our centre are approved by the President of ULC and are conducted in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy of 20 September 2013 on the National Training Programme in the field of civil aviation security (Dz. U. /Journal of Laws/ of 2013, no. 0, item 1147).

In our training centre, we have a multimedia training system, Casra -X-RAY TUTOR 3 by a Swiss company, which is designed to assess competence and certification of security control room operators. The system has recently been upgraded and updated taking into account the latest threats in civil aviation.

AVSEC training centre employs qualified teaching personnel, approved by ULC. Our instructors:

Elżbieta Tarnowska – a qualified teacher, a graduate from SWP in Radzymin. Teresa gained many years of professional experience while working in Placówka Straży Granicznej Warszawa-Okęcie as a pyrotechnician – chemist in the Radiometric and Chemical Group. Teresa attended many national and international training courses in the field of civil aviation security. A certified Civil Aviation Security Instructor, in accordance with ICAO guidelines. A certified Security Control Room Operator. An internal Quality Control Auditor.
